Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 2026

Ronin Reborn ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Ronin Reborn website, application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using Ronin Reborn, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Name or username
  • Email address
  • Account credentials
  • Subscription or billing-related information (processed through third-party payment providers)
  • User-generated content such as notes, goals, habits, training logs, or task entries
  • Messages you send in mentor counsel (AI chat with trainers and Team 7), and limited memory derived from those conversations (for example recent talk crumbs, preferences, goals, or follow-ups)
  • Communications sent to us (support requests, feedback, contact forms)

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use Ronin Reborn, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and actions taken within the Service
  • Date and time of access

This data is used for security, analytics, and service improvement.

1.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies or similar technologies to:

  • Maintain user sessions
  • Remember preferences
  • Analyze usage patterns

Analytics providers such as Google Analytics and PostHog may also set cookies or use similar storage on your device to measure site traffic and product usage. When you are signed in, PostHog may associate your activity with your account identifier to help us understand how features are used and to diagnose errors.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly. Some analytics tools also offer their own opt-out mechanisms; see the third-party services listed in Section 4.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Process subscriptions and payments
  • Improve features, performance, and user experience
  • Provide AI mentor counsel and personalize future counsel using limited stored memory
  • Communicate service-related updates or support messages
  • Enforce our Terms of Service
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical or security issues

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Mentor Counsel and Memory

When you use mentor counsel (chat with trainers such as Taishi, Rei, Kenshin, and Rubi, or Ronin Team 7), your messages are sent to an AI provider to generate replies.

We may store limited memory derived from counsel — such as a short last-thread note, small-talk crumbs, preferences, goals, and time-bound follow-ups — associated with your account and the specific mentor you spoke with. This memory is used to personalize later counsel when that feature is active. The in-app counsel window does not keep a permanent full transcript of every message after you close it; persistence is through this limited memory and related account data, not a complete chat archive in the UI.

New counsel sessions do not currently write or use this dossier. Notes from earlier conversations may still be stored. If you delete your account, we delete associated counsel memory along with other account data, subject to any limited retention needed for legal, security, or billing purposes. Contact us if you want stored mentor notes removed while your account remains open.

4. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

User data may be stored using third-party infrastructure providers.

5. Third-Party Services

Ronin Reborn may rely on third-party services for:

  • Hosting and infrastructure
  • Analytics
  • Payment processing
  • AI model providers used for mentor counsel and related features

These third parties only receive the information necessary to perform their functions. Key providers include:

  • Google Analytics — measures website traffic and general usage on our marketing pages. Google may collect device and browsing data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
  • PostHog — product analytics and error tracking on our website and application. PostHog may collect pages visited, interactions within the Service (such as sign-in, feature use, and subscription-related actions), browser and device information, and technical error data. When you have an account, we may pass your user ID to PostHog so events can be linked to your profile. PostHog's practices are described in PostHog's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
  • Supabase — authentication, database, and backend infrastructure for account and app data, including counsel memory.
  • xAI — AI model provider used to generate mentor counsel replies and related memory extraction. Message content you send in counsel may be processed by xAI for that purpose, subject to xAI's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell personal information collected through these services.
